The 2nd day of champs just HAPPENS to be on Vivi's birthday! How perfect...

The official birthday post will come tomorrow probably because right now (because it's late), I don't have time to really load that many pictures.

And...

the first day of the JSL championships is over! NOW I can tell you what I swam: 8 (100yd IM [individual medley]), 58 (50yd breaststroke), 68 (100yd free), 78 (200yd free relay). It was so fun (and so cold when you're inside on deck in a wet, wet bathing suit). Pictures tomorrow or the day after (because I'll be gone all day tomorrow for the 2nd day of champs! ;)

I'm sick. :( I have a mild fever, feel really tired, and have a stuffy/runny nose--not fun. I'm really hoping to be better tomorrow or the day after...so that I can swim my best for Champs. Can you guys please pray that I'll get better soon?

(a note from Gab): She is going to absolutely swim JSL's unless she is absolutely forbidden to. She is just very worried that she might not be able to swim her best at it because she's sick. But for any of us, you'd have to break an arm or leg to prevent us from swimming at champs.

50th Post!!!

Yay!!! This is actually factually our 50th post! Let's see...it's been 37 days (I think) since we started and we've done 50 posts...so that means that we averaged...how much a day?? Anyone want to do the math?

(Gab said that she'd do the math when she saw me write this...so let's see what she comes up with)

Ok. Gab says that means we average 1.351351... per day. Oh...kay...

The Promised Post

Finally the rooms are switched and I can do this post. I know it took a VERY long time, but finally I've taken pictures.
I wish I had 'before and after' pictures...but I don't, so y'all will have to imagine what they looked like at first. I'll just say that they were probably messier.

So...here are the pictures!

A couple of things to ignore in our room (Gab and me) pictures:

1. I know, where are the chairs to the table? Well, to tell you the truth, we don't own them. I didn't like the chairs that went with that table, so we're looking around for chairs that look good.


2. The bookshelf. We're going to move it to the basement, so you can totally ignore it and all the stuff on it.



3. The mess on the dresser. We're not completely finished moving...so not all the mess is cleaned up.



4. The...well....kinda wacky curtain. It's there temporarily because we don't have a curtain that we like to put there. It's actually our sarongs draped so that the fringe folds over. I think Mom and Dad think it looks weird...and it kinda does.


5. Lack of hardware - we might change the hardware, so it won't look so kiddish...so...yeah...

Other then those, you have a pretty clear image of what our room looks like.

Swim Meet: Boar's Head

This was another unscored meet because Boar's Head is in the first division, and we are in the second. I don't know why they had to put our last "normal" meet as just a "practice" meet, though.

Because it kept on thundering, we skipped the relays and didn't do any freestyle except the 8 & unders'.

My events: 18, 28, 58, 68

Vivi's: 16 (medley relay), 26 (freestyle), 46 (backstroke...ugh!), 56 (breaststroke).

This time I actually decided to put my other sisters' events also.

Annette: 46, 36

Josie: 22, 42, 52

But then it thundered, so we put down the seats in the car and squished in. (This was our friends' car)

I think with everything going on in the meet, hardly anybody noticed the sunset except one girl who pointed it out to me and told me to take a picture of it.

That I'll be able to get a Viola for good soon. I guess I didn't tell you guys that I play Viola and Piano. I'm getting new Viola...actually, I'm borrowing one right now. It's an inch and a half bigger then the old one. The only problem is that the new one is probably at least a little overpriced....in my opinion. We're looking around for one that is good quality and not to very expensive.

...and new cleaning lady! *ahem* I mean, I new 'cleaning baby'. Unfortunately, our house wasn't getting as clean as it should be. Somebody took notice of the dirt and decided that all that was needed was a thorough sweep.
