Ben And Juliet - YouTube Video

Here is the official movie, my patient followers. Because we had to put it on YouTube, the quality isn't that good.

We also realize that B&J is probably hard to follow if you don't know the storyline (for example, when R sends the email "Hey, J...", it looks like she sent it to Ben, but really she sent it to Juliet. It's just that the bug in her computer makes any emails she sends automatically go to Ben).

The sound is also really bad in places--like in Rosaline's party, we had this music on that made the background noise really bad.

But anyway, enough explaining. You can see for yourselves right here.

(we plan on having a new camera and microphone by our next movie.)

Oh, one more thing: If you're having extreme trouble following this, email me and ask for the master script (I'm script supervisor, so I'm in charge of that stuff...).

EDIT: Ben runs away because he's afraid the police will get him for breaking in R's house and putting the bug in her computer, and he's afraid J will find out.

1. Favorite color combination? I like browns and blues/pinks/greens, and I also like blacks and whites/pinks/greens/everything.

{Ok...(this is Vivi)...I really like brown and pink/blue/green...and then I like black with white/pink/blue/greens...stuff like that. Pretty much exactly what Gab said}

2. Crocheting or knitting? Most CERTAINLY crocheting. I can't stand knitting, and crocheting goes so much faster anyway.

{Neither. ;) I don't really do either one}

3.Shells or pebbles? Both.

{Yeah. Both}

4. AM or PM? I really like the morning hours, I think.

{Both for different reasons. I kinda have to be a morning person because I'm so used to getting up early...but then like tonight I'll be up super late and stuff...plus it's really pretty when it's black outside}

5. Favorite X-box game? Well, the karoake thing we played with our cousins was pretty fun...

{We don't have an X-box...but we played some with our cousins...(as Gab said)...and that was fun}

6. Target or Wal-Mart? Well, we just got this HUGE updated Wal Mart that's VERY nice, but then Target's like 5 min. away, and we like that too...

{Target, I think}

7. Cake or pie? Probably cake.

{ICE CREAM cake. I don't like regular cake from a box...unless it's a certain kind. And Black Forest Cake (a specific kind) is really really good...}

8. Chocolate or vanilla? CHOCOLATE!!

{Chocolate!!!!}

9. Mowing or raking? I think with our riding mower, mowing would be more fun.

{MOWING. Mowing's actually fun...while raking (in my opinion) is not.}

10. Pants or skirts? Both!

{Definitely both}

11. Neon orange or neon yellow? Orange (think champs theme, all my fellow FLST swimmers)

{Yeah...neon orange...it's much prettier}

12. Fruit or vegetables? Fruit definitely.

{FRUIT}

13. Sunglasses or hat? Probably sunglasses. They can look pretty cool. ;)

{I LOVE SUNGLASSES. So, yeah..definitely sunglasses...it's funny how similar our answers are...but then I guess you could expect that. :) }

We tag...ADELYN!!

Thursday Afternoon Daybook

Outside my window...

It's bright and sunny...yet still cold

Mood...

Excited!

I'm thinking...

About how pleasant it is that I have pretty much all my work done...

I'm currently reading...

I started Pride and Prejudice last night...

I'm listening to...

Spirit FM

I'm wearing...

Black and red shirt (it's hard to describe...you'd have to see it), jean skirt, and black leggings

I'm looking forward to...

CHRISTMAS!! (why is this question even here...it's so obvious!)

I'm hoping...

That when it snows on Christmas, we will get lots! I've heard a lot of rumors and stuff about how much we're going to get...so I'm not sure...but Dad said the snow plows are preparing for 12-20 inches! We'll have to see...

Yesterday, I...

Babysat Bug...watched The Christmas Shoes

Around the house…

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! (Just kidding...not beginning...it has been looking like Christmas for some time now...)

I'm hungry for...

Nothing. Just ate

The song stuck inside my head is…

Whatever the song on the radio is...let me ask if Mom knows the name...oh, great...she doesn't know.

I love…

Late nights by a fire playing a game/watching a movie

I loathe...

Bad books...I'm sure some of you can sympathize.

From the kitchen…

Delicious smells...it's obvious that it's finally almost Christmas!

School right now…

None (thank goodness!)

What we’re planning for this week…

Uhh...can you guess?? Midnight mass, going to an asian buffet, having family over, celebrating CHRISTMAS

I am thankful for…

Christmas...but even more the reason we celebrate it. After all, there wouldn't be a Christmas at all if Jesus wasn't born. :)

Christmas Tag

Ok...so yes, Jo...I have gotten a picture with Santa before, but I actually have never believed in him. Gab has too (when we were all...well....forced to with our adopted-grandma. ;)...but let me just do this because our answers would be very similar.

1. What is your one favorite dish to see on the table at Christmas dinner?
Hmm...Believe it or not, I don't know. That's kinda sad, isn't it?

2. Do you have a Nativity scene or a creche?
Haha. Is that really a question? Each of us girls (Gab, Me, Annette, Josie, and Mom) all have their own nativity scene made especially for us by our great-grandma...(they're really pretty. They're porcelain)...then there's the one we have up plus the numerous clay ones we have...
3. What is your favorite Christmas movie?
So hard! But I have to say, we just watched The Christmas Shoes and it was really good. Tell me if you can watch that movie and NOT cry. ;)

4. If you and your family could spend this Christmas in another country, where would you go?
I don't think I would go anywhere, even if I could.

5. Does your grandmother usually knit you something for Christmas, or does she give you something different -- say, a Wii?
No. Neither one knits. I usually get a coat from Oma and money/whatever I want from Gramma. (yes, that's how we spell it...right, Gramma?)

6. Have you ever gone out of the house wearing a reindeer headband? What about a Santa hat?
I actually don't remember specifically doing that...:P

7. Do you usually make or buy your Christmas gifts?
Usually mixture. Like this year. ;)

8. When do you set up your Christmas decorations?
Umm...well...uhh...we *usually* do it whenever we get to it which is usually near the beginning of December...but...umm...this year the lights came out late and the house decorations didn't get put up till...umm...yesterday. Yeah, I know. It's bad.

9. What kind of activities does your church usually have at Christmas?
This is a good question, because it means I get to tell y'all about MIDNIGHT MASS. Yes, it's just what it sounds like. Mass at midnight! So on Christmas Eve around 11:30 we pack up (at least, most of us) and head down to church. It's fun! And then you're excited during the entire mass because you know it's already Christmas!

10. Did you ever believe in Santa Claus as a child?
Nope. As I said before, I was never taught to believe in Santa.

11. Which of the Gospels gives your favorite account of the Christmas story?
I really don't know.

12. Have you ever acted in a Christmas pageant?
Not in a Christmas pageant...but in a Christmas-themed play! (yes, the same that Jo was in if I know what she's talking about...)

13. Do you buy Christmas presents for your pets?
No. Sad to say...:( But Ellie sometimes get flooded with treats....sometimes. ;) If we remember.

14. What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
I have too many. Let me list a few:

1. We always go to an asian buffet on Christmas Eve. It's a family tradition...don't ask me why.
2. Last year we didn't go to Midnight Mass, but have the previous years...I guess you could call it a tradition...
3. We usually come down the stairs and have breakfast/gifts in our pajamas. ;) I mean really...who would want to get dressed Christmas morning?
4. We always have sticky buns and sausage casserole for breakfast.
5. We always make wontons...well, we always *try* to...but I think maybe once we never got to it, and a couple times they've been less for Christmas and more for New Years.
6. We always watch a Christmas movie while!

We have more...I've probably forgotten a lot. :)

Oh, and I tag Katie and Emily!

A little elaboration on "winter"

So yeah, happy winter and all that, but hmm....let's be a bit more specific.

So let’s see; how can we describe winter?

Hmm….

Random Christmas decorations boxes all over the place…

Christmas lights swallowing up your front porch/yard…

Making gingerbread houses…(bad picture, sorry)

Christmas concert things…

Crazy little brothers…

Board games late at night…

SNOW…(I cut out our last name and house number)

Snow shoveling

Christmas tree and the Christmas-tree-smell…(didn’t put a picture of the whole tree ‘cause I wasn’t happy with any of the photos I got of it.)

Advent wreath and candles…

Reading by the fire…

Being lazy with iPhones and iPods and Macbooks(by the fire, of course)…

…and one minor addition: Christmas. More specifically Jesus (why Jesus rather than Christmas? Because many take Christmas to mean presents and food and mistletoe, etc.)

Happy Winter!

HAPPY WINTER TO YOU...HAPPY WINTER TO YOU...HAPPY WINTER DEAR PEOPLE...HAPPY WINTER TO YOU!

Hope y'all have wonderful winters this year! ;)

19 December 2010

Keep the prayers coming, please...

...'cause now Josie is sick with the bug (the same one Mom, Annette, and Gab had), and Dad has a fever and headache.
Bug and I are starting to feel like we better get away...;)

Friday MORNING Daybook...

I forgot to do this yesterday, and wanted to tell y'all what's going on here, so...

Outside my window...

SNOW!!! It's SO pretty. We got like 4 inches...maybe 5...hopefully we can get some pictures up soon.

Mood...

A little bit worried...

I'm thinking...

About today. We're probably going to be at home almost all day...because we have some sick people

I'm currently reading...

I just finished Trespasses Against Us by Christian M. Frank

I'm listening to...

Mom on the phone

I'm wearing...

Jeans (what a surprise), a black shirt with a teal shirt over it...

I'm looking forward to...

Uhh...Christmas!

I'm hoping...

That I won't get the bug we have! It's really bad...and I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll be the one to get it next. Mom's had it, Annette had it, Gab has it now...we're hoping that Bug-bug won't get it...that would be sad.

Yesterday, I...

Read almost all day...and started and finished my book then. The day before we had our debate in history! It was SO fun! The teams tied....(the teacher was smart enough to make the number of questions and even number)

Around the house…

Annette still in bed, Josie in the kitchen, Bug in his highchair, Gab on the couch, Mom on the phone...and me at my laptop!

I'm hungry for...

Nothing...well, maybe a coke or something...

The song stuck inside my head is…

Well, I was just at Jo's blog and was just listening to The Twelve Days of Christmas by Straight No Chaser...so...

I love…

CHRISTMAS

I loathe...

Throwing up...(I know, a little gross, but...)

From the kitchen…

Breakfast. Mom's going to bring home lunch, probably...

School right now…

I don't have any school right now! Break isn't supposed to start till next week, but I don't have math, grammar, writing, religion, science, history, or logic...I already finished them for the week.

What we’re planning for this week…

Watching a movie tonight...and getting our Christmas presents all together...

I am thankful for…

That I'm not sick...YET. Pray for us!

Saturday AFTERNOON Daybook - Dec. 11

(hosted by Miss Jo March at
Scraps From My Workbasket)

Date... 11 December
Starting time... 3:09pm
Mood...tired
Outside my window... we're putting out the christmas lights...
I'm thinking...we haven't been posting on here lately because we've been really busy...
I'm currently reading...still The Odyssey
I'm listening to...Viv's viola
I'm wearing...sweatshirt, gray striped shirt, jeans
I'm looking forward to...tomorrow (screening 2)
I'm hoping...we can get our movie done tomorrow
Yesterday, I...went to the ACTS performance thing
I'm hungry for...something that's not cold
The song stuck inside my head is...Candlelight by The Maccabeats (no surprise)
I love...my very, very cute little brother...
I loathe...when those plastic things that we use to put the lights up make my fingers hurt really badly!
This week, my goal is...to get a lot better at this piece (If you watch it, it has 2 mvts--1st slow, 2nd faster. If you want to hear the 2nd even faster, I can give you the link.).
Did I meet last week's goal?...NO. It was frigid (just ask Micah), and we had to film outside for a bit beforehand. That affects both my fingers and my tone.
Ending time... 3:15.pm
